Description of the Program

Facilitation is one of the highly thought after skills and most appreciated skills in workplace.

The Certified Facilitator (CF) program is to grow participants’ mindset, knowledge and ability in the area of professional facilitation. Effectively facilitating a group or team toward co-created, meaningful and committed outcomes is a core agile coaching competency as well asa a skill necessary for effective leadership.

The CF program supports the growth of participants and helps with challenges from real working environments. While participants advances their facilitation skills, participants also support their teams and organizations to advance.

Who should participate in this Program?

Facilitation is one of the highly thought after skills and most appreciated skills in workplace. So this program is intended for anybody working in an Agile context.

This course is for people who are and/or will be working in an Agile context:

  • Product people (product manager, product owner) to facilitate workshops with stakeholders
  • Project manager
  • People manager
  • ScrumMaster and Agile Coaches wanting to advance their facilitation skills
  • Individuals who want to develop themselves on the path of Agile Coach
  • Anybody who wants to learn about group facilitation

The Certified Facilitator does not require prior learning. Though anybody who doesn’t understand Agile and Scrum, some preparation work has to be done to work with facilitation in an Agile context.

Delivery Method

  • The whole program is brought to you virtually at your choice of location
  • The program has 16 hours of learning, and can be delivered via 2-full day of training, or 4 multiple 1/2 day sessions. You join a module based schedule on your personal preferences of time and interest

Simulation sessions:
We all have many challenges and experiences from real work situation. Role plays give opportunities to participants to work with real life challenges by acting into the situation and learn about insights to facilitate .

We are all different - different mental models, different experiences, different backgrounds, different culture and different challenges. Through group work, participants get to work with theory to practices, and advance together through collaborative learning.

Practice facilitation in real work environment:
Learning is in its full power when it is applied in real work environment, reflected and improved. 
Participants will design facilitation plan, faclitate in real work situations, and come back for further learning and reflection. Participants can select from a list of popular Agile and Scrum related events to practice with. Commonly, participants practice their faclitation learning with the following topics:
